After all is said and done, I never thought my car would reach past 350 rwhp, with mods in sig.
The Main thing the guys at lethal said, you got shorty headers, that wont help your HP very much, because they are a bit restrictive.

After they tie it down and do all the HPtuners software download, he sets off on the first pass...

Surprisingly, the TA hits 353.9 rwhp n 351.4 torque...

After a few adjustments he sets of again, to gain a bit more pushing my numbers to... 356.3 rwhp n 356.6 torque...

I was very happy with those numbers, and ask my tuner... So i guess this is all she put out for this time around, right?

He's like not quite, its still running a lil lean at the bottom and a bit rich at the top, plus you still got timming left.
I really didnt understand much but, that there is room for a couple more horses somewhere in there.

MY FINAL NUMBERS...

365.19 Rwhp and 363.91 Torque

I was amazed with my numbers and this is no dyno spike or nothing dumb, its actual numbers produced by the LS1.

Now! LT headers and Y pipe, Ill be up there with you 380-390 guys all day.

But my stall will be firts before them two items.

Goin to the track Tonight to test it out and practice, I will have pics and video of my Wonderful Saturday.

IM SO HAPPY!!!

With what you got, and a lil spray you plan on adding,, Your goal of low 12s high 11s shouldnt be a problem..

I sure hope so!... But im really optimist to reach low 12 with just long tube headers and a 3 inch y pipe, and elevens with a 3600 stall.

This evening i went out to the san antonio dragway, and suprisingly i made a 12.9 at 110 with a crappy 2.086 60 ft. Have slip and vids to prove it and will upload soon, I was able to beat my friends cobra that suppousely puts 453 at the wheels, he caught up at the very end in a couple of passes, but im not that far away from completely blowing him out the water.
Track conditions where very humid 79-80 degrees. We both ran on non gripping street tires...

Thanks for posting and viewing my thread!!!

I really like those 224r cams, they make great midrange and are very practical for street applications. Deff. a great setup man.

That's where I would like to be at 350whp with a nice lil spray setup.

You can get 350rwhp from bolt ons with an LS1, add some spray and you're looking at 450rwhp/475-500ft/lbs torque with a conservative 100 shot.

I haven't had my car very long but I've added pacestter headers, ported tb, slp lid, slp maf, slp smooth bellow and a 3600 stall Idk what kind of whp I'm at now because I wana get a ls6 intake and true duals before I tune my car but 350whp would b nice

very nice numbers, I have a few questions tho. Where your cutouts open? and what tranny are you running?

very nice numbers, I have a few questions tho. Where your cutouts open? and what tranny are you running?

On the First Dyno Pass it was closed, but the first dyno pass is only for the tuner to get a base on what to do, it was then when i snapped and took the cap off and didnt put it back on for the rest of the tune, I leave it off all the time tho.
My tranny is the 4l60e, with a stock converter...

LIke previously mentioned, Im happy with my 365rwhp and 364torque

The part that gets me is that was his only post :eek2: sorry the dude did that. But you have some good numbers... How's the cam working for ya

The cam is working great and of course made very satisfactory numbers... 365rwhp and 364 or torque.

I do have a lil issue tho...
When i accelerate, the car revs up just a bit and then it catches. Minor slippage. But when im at high speeds, i smash the gas pedal redlines for a second or two and then it goes.
I have a stock trans and torque converter... Will replacing the converter to a 3600 stall fix this problem???
Let me know if you or anyone knows about this.

I do have an Auto 4 speed... Still kicked butt at the track with a 12.9 with a crappy 2.0 60 foot.
I'll upload vids of my 1/4 mile here soon.
First time driving and learning the T/A since the tune and real performance feel.
All input welcome, Please help!:thumb:

Did you run a 12.9 with a cam and all those bolt ons?? Sounds like bad slipping in the tranny.

I believe that will fix it, atleast thats my understanding... correct me if im wrong.

Yes a 12.9, I thought i should be doing better, but didnt want to dissapoint myself... My friends cobra got me on this pass with less than two tenths of a second, and he is putn down 453 RWHP. Both on street tires.

What i Dont understand, is why if i had a slower time, I beat my friends cobra with a faster time...
Remember, both on street tires and horrible 60 footers.

Its not a whole lot of bolt ons if you really look at it... Only have lid, gutted catz, and cut out. everything else is stock down to the y pipe. even though i have an 80 series flowmasters wich is so crappy and restrictive, but being bypassed by cutout at the I pipe... Long tubes and 3 inch ory is the key to maximize my set up...

You have a good setup but yea a few tweeks and yourll be flying... I like how you just leave your buddy out the gate. and he is making almost 100 more hp?

The win is based on your reaction time plus your time through the 1/4 mile. Your ET is the time it took for you to break the beams, then pass through the 1/4, so you can win with a slower ET but faster reaction time.

OOOOHHh!
Thats how it works... Thanks for the break down:D
As far as my Tranny slipping, would replacing the torque converter with a stall fix this problem?

assuming your tranny is not going out, just adding the TC alone will knock a few tenths off your ET.but then traction becomes an issue as you will launch a LOT harder.that 3600rpm TC will make it feel like a different car,i promise you.with a good launch you should run low 12s all day long, but will need good tires/suspension to do it.

Im sure i can reach my ultimate goal of low 12's high 11's with the 3600 stall...
Unfortunately my tranny took a dump on me, Im getn a rebuit, shift kit, and 2500 stall for just 100 bucks more for now.
I know i wont be satisfied with stall but its a deal for just a hundred bucks more.
Im also looking into LCA to make my ride more efficient on take offs.
