i was wondering what size the factory power steering hose is in AN(2002 LQ4) - im thinking about cutting it to the desired length and using a hose end like this then a adapter from Xan to inverted flare into my factory gearbox

would this work?

It will work....but for $20 bucks you can take the line to Napa and they will put the correct end on it for the chevelle. I Just did this on my 64 Chevelle. Works like a champ.

BTW....I tried the AN fitting route and even used crimp fittings but it leaked.

Honestly as was said the best route is get one made. Even if you found a close size fitting, AN fittings require a pretty specific ID/OD to make a positive seal. I think you'd just be asking for a high pressure fluid spray
