Default New Edge Mustang LS1

Car is a 1999 Mustang Gt that had a 2v 4.6 and 4r70w auto. Got the car with a broken timing chain and heads that did not look great.

I have so far

2000 ls1
4l80e
wiring harness and computer

The motor mounts have been made and the engine dropped in. I also got some long tube gto headers that I am hoping to use.

Still trying to collect some random stuff, like alternator brackets, power steering bracket and power steering pump. Engine came with a truck intake that won't work, so currently looking for a deal on a complete ls6 intake.

I took some pictures today, hope to get them on tomorrow.

Yea, the other engine was virtually ready to pull out. Now we got to get the rest of the parts to finish. Hoping to get some headers from somebody local.

Has anyone ran summit long tubes SUM-G9030.

They are only 1 5/8 and for 302, but I am trying to save some cash on this project and $130 looks way cheaper than some $500+ 351w headers.

Jegs has 30071 for the same price.

No pictures yet, but the project is still in motion.

Transmission is in with a custom crossover mount. Got most of the front accessories done, I just need the power steering and a tensioner.

I also got some bbk-1569 351w headers, that are supposed to work, have not tried them yet.

Here is what I have gotten done so far.

Headers look like they will work, I just have to get some flanges and put those on.
Never showed the wiring harness, so I got a picture of it too.

I still have to get a power steering pump, tensioner, o2 sensors(going to use my innovate wideband as simulator for one) and dipstick.

What does everyone do for the fuel system? I have not gotten any of that yet.
