I have one dilemma. Which t56 magnum ratio for ls376/525 engine, 3.15 diff with 40% lock up, tires 255/35/17" or 18". Car will be driven on street. Because loot torque I think that version with 2.66 first gear is better choice for traction. Car weight 3100lbs.

Either gearset would be fine 1-4, but a .50 6th gear and 3.15 diff would be a gross mismatch. Your choice is correct.
