Talking Installed my BrakeMotive Rotors and Pads

I bought this car a month ago and the rotors were thrashed. I could not stop the squeaking. I saw this pad/rotor deal for $160 shipped!!!! No more squeaking and it stops better....win/win....

I like how you removed the rivets from your wheels... I was contemplating doing the same thing to mine... looks like I may do it...

Oh, nice brakes too.... Ive had the money 3 times for this upgrade but I keep spending it on other ****... So, are they truly a quality part as far as you can tell?

I had their brakes on my Camaro, and have them on my Trailblazer now. I installed a set on my boss's Impala as well.

I've been happy with them They would be even better if they were made here in the good old USA of course

Wrong side. According to Baer anyway...maybe that brand is different. The slots should point the other way. So left rotor is on the wrong side, and vise versa.

Mine are going on 10 years old.........

If you look at the pics with the brakemotive rotors under the "sponsor special" section, mine are the same as their pics. Plus its kinda hard to miss the "driver side" stickers on the rotors.

rotors with a straight slot are any direction.. the curved slots are directional and should radius to the rear... Jarheads rotors are fine....

Yea, just thought I'd ask. Baer told me to make sure the slots go the way mine are in my picture.
But I really don't see why it matters with street cars anyway.

He has them on correctly. Brakemotive has rather large stickers on the hat of each rotor to tell you which side they go on.

Baer must cut their slots opposite of how Brakemotive cuts theirs.

dont pay ANYYYY attention to the slot marks you see on the face, like anticop mentioned, check the cooling slots INSIDE.. if they are cheap rotors and not brembo and baer, etc.. then they probably have straight vains and fit either side

I installed this setup earlier in the year w/ the supplied ceramic pads...I'm definitely happy with the improved stopping performance. My only complaint is that they squeal when stopping unless I stop very, very quickly (press REALLY hard on the pedal). Thinking about changing the pads to non-ceramic as it's annoying as hell.
