Default cylinder head questions

I am getting ready to start porting a set of stock 5.3 heads from a 2001 LM7 engine.......

What are about the biggest set of valves I can run in this head being that I bored it to 3.905 finished size.......

I am looking to make as big of numbers as I can without having to buy a set of CNC heads.........

I am also looking for clearance of the valves to the cylinder walls as I do not want them to graze the walls at all..........

Any help on this subject or even if you have info on porting a set of stock 5.3 heads would be great, as this is for my hi performance class on cylinder heads and the school does not have to much information on the GEN III LS1

I understand that I can call companys and get heads but I am looking to see if anyone has done this to 5.3 ltr heads

I have searched the forums in length and cannot find any info on these heads

but everybody says that the 5.3 ltr heads are the ones to put on bigger c.i. motors because of the small chambers

have a good machine shop around? I assume you're planning to open up the port throat to take advantage of the larger valve...

A 2.08 will not flow well on a small bore engine. I would keep the intake to 2.02 and 1.57 on the exhaust
