Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): OH
Color: Beige
Transmission: Manual

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

SOLD!!!!!!

and for the curious minds like mine - I got $10,000

Guy flew in from NJ and is driving it home tonight.

I'm just testing the waters as I would like to step up to the corvette world.

There really is nothing wrong with the car and I could keep enjoying it, I just really want a vette and have for a long time. Gets compliments all the time and is extremely clean for the year - although it is no perfect show car, it get's driven all the time.

I'm looking for a Z06/FRC, preferably modded (H/C would be nice). Looking for one valued 23k or less

I drove to South Carolina to pick up the T/A so I am willing to drive to meet someone for a swap. I have driven the car over 1000 miles in 7 days many times. I drive it anywhere and everywhere with confidence and it never lets me down. I have an excel sheet with all of the mods / maintenance I have done since I got the car with mileages and dates.

For Sale Out Right 10.5k OBO. Car is sitting in the garage in NE Ohio for the winter and with a brand new set of BMR lower control arms (old ones had a crack). Car has been put away since I picked up a new DD in mid september.

I was going to ask 10,700 but unfortunately the front license plate cover was recently lost so I knocked 200 of the price. They can be had cheaper than that already painted. There is also a small amount of rash on one of the wheels. The tires are in very good shape and these star specs are some sticky street tires! I'm not trying to BS anyone here - the car is not perfect but it is in fantastic shape and far better than average even for an enthusiast car of this age. Car also received a brand new Clutch Master after the input rod snapped in traffic (that was over $400) and only has about 600 highway miles on it.

Here is some info:

Factory Options:

- Black Leather
- Power Windows
- Power Locks
- Monsoon Audio
- Traction Control
- Steering Wheel Buttons
- T56
- Power Drivers Seat with power lumbar on both
- 110,xxx miles (This is the mileage it was at when it was put away. I believe it's at 110,6xx right now and it will stay that way until spring.)
- NEVER SEEN A WINTER / SALT - this thing is CLEAN underneath

Exterior Modifications:

- 18" HP Racing Evo Wheels Hyper Dark w/ Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec tires in good shape all 4 corners.
- Superhawk hood by U.S. exotics Funtional Ram Air and Heat Extractors

Interior Modifications:

Custom Embroidered Firebird Headrests
Silver Face Gauges

Performance:

FLP Long Tube Headers (Hi Flo Cats / off road test pipes both come with the car, interchangeable with v-band clamps)
Corsa Catback Exhaust System
K&N Cold Air Intake
LS6 intake manifold
Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft (230/232 .595"/.595" Lift on 114 LSA)
Comp 918s Valve Springs
Titanium Retainers
Hardened Pushrods
NGK TR55 Spark Plugs
ASP Underdrive Pulley
160 Degree Thermostat
Dyno Tuned
412 RWHP / 418 RWTQ

Car is still cam only with 853 cast heads - there is a lot of potential in it!

Car does have cats but no EGR or AIR. I would not expect it to pass emissions.

Suspension/Chassis:

Kenny Brown Double Diamond Subframe Connectors
BMR Strut Tower Brace
UMI Adjustable Pan Hard Bar
Eibach LT1 Pro-Kit Lowering Springs
Koni Sport Adjustable Shocks (Koni Yellows - 4/3 Package)
BMR Poly/Poly Adjustable Lower Control Arms (Rear)
-.75 Degrees of Camber

Brembo Blank Rotors
Performance Friction Z-Rated Pads
Drivetrain:

Motive Performance 4.10 Gears (new rear end rebuild as of 7/19/2010 ~98k miles - it does have a very little bit of whine from 50-60 but it has since it went in. Whines a lot less than the richmonds I had before and I was told those were very mild for an aftermarket gearset by some other Fbody guys. Still worth it for the 4.10s they are too much fun to go with something else)
Tick Performance Level 2 Built T56
Tick Performance Remote Clutchbleeder
Monster Stage 3 Six Puck Clutch
Monster Pressure Plate / Slave Cylinder / Throwout Bearing
Monster 18lb Lightweight Chrome Moly Flywheel
B&M Ripper Short Shifter
T/A Girdle (Rear End Brace)
2002 Clutch Hydraulics
Drill Mod
All Clutch / Trans work done around 95k miles so it's really fresh.

Electronics:

Factory Monsoon
Compustar 2W900FMR Remote Paging Alarm with Remote Start

Just compiled this for a PM and thought I might as well add it here - recent major maintenance. You can see a lot of this car is pretty fresh.

Shocks <30k miles
Clutch / Flywheel / Throwout bearing / Slave Cylinder<15k miles
Built Transmission <15k miles
Rear Main Seal <15k miles (just changed to be safe when the trans was out)
Rebuilt Rear end with all new bearings and gears <12k miles
Brakes <12k miles
Tires < 16k miles (fronts have even less - all match though)
Passenger window motor <10k miles
Driver's window motor <16.5k miles

4 Wheel alignment just done this week (12/2/11)
Brand new clutch master cylinder
Brand New rear lower control arms
Oil has 2800 miles on it but I'll change with Mobil 1 full synthetic (as always) before someone comes long distance to pick it up.

I've also been asked a few times: The A/C and heat both function as they should. Nothing wrong there.

dyno - you can see power hadn't peaked at 6000 but I didn't want to rev it out any higher. Redline is set at 6500 in the tune

VIDEO:

MORE PICS (w/interior etc): http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v6...%20For%20Sale/

The car is in the garage at my parent's house (as it is for every Winter) This car has 0 rips / tears in the leather and looks fantastic inside - even the driver's seat is in great shape.

Feel free to PM me with questions!

Yep - I've had it there a couple times when I was at Purdue. Thanks for the compliment! I think it's pretty sweet too.

Bump for a new video (this was taken with cats as it sits - also comes with test pipes that switch out with 4 v-band clamps)

Also added a link to a photobucket album of pictures taken this morning (Thanksgiving morning) with minor defects shown. As you can see the car is in pretty good shape.

Forgot to get one of the driver's side mirror - it has a couple cracks in in as well but it's just the mirror itself - should be an easy and cheap fix.

fly in and drive it home!

or just have someone drive up with you and the drive it back - I have no doubts you will enjoy the ride - I know I did when I bought it and it's only better now.
