9.5" or 10.25" TORQUE CONVERTER FOR 1000HP TURBO??

Default 9.5" or 10.25" TORQUE CONVERTER FOR 1000HP TURBO??

ok guys im trying to decide from fti's 9.5" or circle d's 10.25" or neal chance 10-10.5" converter for my turbocharged stroker making around rwhp i have always seen pro mod cars and outlaw cars running 10" or 10.5" converters so whats some opinions from auto guys and have similar app its a th400 just in case someone asks and please explain why one over the other im not worried about the company all 3 are the best in the business its primary the size and why thanks guys...

Whichever company you go with.....ASK THEM. They will require full, detailed specs of your set-up, and how you plan to race the car (1/8th vs 1/4 mile, launch control or none, etc), and then they will tell you what they reccomend. Their advice should out-weigh anyone on here.

I'd call PTC, they have their turbo program together!

ninetres, i have done so and this is what they suggest to be honest they dont like when you ask why you suggest such size over so and so they get affended and tel me well go get there converter then when i would just like to know why is it efficency or strength or so and so... i figured i would come and have people chim in and see there take im def not taking it to heart just want some guys who are running such turbocharged autos im the type that wants to know what is in my car and why i chose that instead of just saying i have what i have cause someone suggested it but i do appreciate the help and thanks nitroused383 ill check them out i am familiar with them used one in my cobra

If a person told me to go some where else because i ask him a question , i would hang up then call back ask for owner or manage .

Because you are in Florida, this is an easy choice. Call Greg @ FTI. They stand behind their product without question. Customer service is second to none and their products perform consistently. If you need a restall while getting it dialed in or after changing things around, it's usually from your door step back to your door step in 3-4 business days UPS ground.

hey 98z28cobrakiller I think I seen you at the track few weeks ago on test and tune I was trying to chat with ya but you were to busy looking over your holley efi live af maps.. Was that you?

Yep. Hope you didn't take it wrong. I think that I had just made a pass, was reviewing the data and it was my first time out to the track with the new setup so I had to wrap my head around what I was doing.
