Question Service vehicle, Brake and ABS light on after new battery??

I put a new battery in my 2002 WS6 Trans Am and when I fired it up the Service vehicle, Brake and ABS light came on in the dash? I then checked my brakes and the front were like brand new but the rear was pretty bad so I replaced them thinking that would fix the problem BUT turned it on and the lights were still there? I made sure the fluid was to the max line and even took the terminal off the battery thinking something needed to be reset but still have the lights. Anyone run into a problem like this on these cars and any possible suggestions to not have to take it to a shop? Thanks ahead of time!

The EBCM (ABS) has the abiltiy to turn all of those on.
Maybe coincidence @ the same time as the battey but more thasn likely the ABS system has a code.
They are usually the first to be upset about a low voltage problem.
Was it ran with out the battery or near dead?

Need to pull the ABS code & see to be sure if it's more than likely related.

It wasn't really run with the battery dead; just don't drive for months at a time and when I went to start it the battery was dead. I was fishing around on another forum (http://kyhorsepower.com) and came across the exact same problem from this board and his fix, (https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspensio...oon-fixed.html) "I started digging around the ABS system and noticed the ground wire was loose as crap! All that trouble from a loose ground wire!"

I'll try that today and see how that works!

Default Update

I was determined to figure this out today. So first thing I did was to make sure the ground wasn’t loose, it wasn’t so then I began to check all the fuses....

There was one blown.

Changed it and turned the key and the lights were off! I guess it blew when I changed the battery or something but that is one problem out of the way.
