Introductions & Greetings - New to LS1 tech!!!

Hey guys, im Brandon from Louisiana. I drive a pretty stout 87 caprice brougham ls but im wanting to go new school LSx and efi. I've been visiting this site for maybe 2 years now and havent joined until now. Shame on me. Well just saying Whats Up to you all

Welcome! Are you wanting to build a stout cruising machine or are you looking to take it to the track once in a while? Either way, if you have been around here for a couple of years, you know that there is a lot of good info here.

hey guys, yes I already have a 87 that I will not be getting rid of. And yes, the new 6.0 (when I get it early next year) will be going to the track. This will be my daily with a few races every other weekend. Yea i've gained a lot of knowledge on building one but my problem is dropping it in.:) I was going to sell my engine for 1500, carb to headers, and use that to get me a nice low mile 6.0 from somewhere, upgrade the 6.0 more before installation. Thought about eps cam, l92 heads, and other things with you all help. I will not be satisfied if im not running 11s or better on motor and hopefully alot better on the 150 shot. Just need a Lil more help from you all since im buying parts alreadyfor it.

you will like the conversion section then. these motors have been put in just about every frame gm has made that could have a V8 originally. a caprice converter should be available for advice.
