The new TCI controller leaves quite a bit to be desired. The old TCI controller was produced by PCS. But recently TCI decided to build their own controller. I have never used the Opti shift, but we use the PCS TCM-2000 stand alone controller in all of our conversions and it has been awesome. http://www.powertraincontrolsolutions.com/tcu.php
