Thumbs up 2004 GTO - from STOCK to NOT - a Tick Performance ProCharger Build!

Just finished up Markeven's 2004 GTO, a car that he brought to us bone stock with hopes of transforming it into a ~500rwhp ProCharged daily driver. He wanted a mild setup that would get the job done, but still be ultra reliable. Our solution?

ProCharger P-1SC Supercharger Kit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/110745474981
Kooks Custom 1 7/8" x 3" Headers O2 Extension Harnesses: http://www.tickperformance.com/produ...ntiac-GTO.html
Kooks Custom 3" Catted Connection Pipes: http://www.tickperformance.com/produ...ntiac-GTO.html
SLP "Loud Mouth II" Exhaust System w/PowerFlo-X Crossover Pipe: http://www.tickperformance.com/produ...ver-Pipe-.html
Lingenfelter High Flow Intank Fuel Pump Kit: http://www.tickperformance.com/linge...2004-2006-gto/
Tick & Monster Complete Clutch Swap Package (Level 2): http://www.tickperformance.com/tick-...age-04-06-gto/

Our ProCharger Package includes full install & dynotune, and all accessories were installed at the same time for free! A definite value.

One of our technicians, Matt, began the build last week:

...and finished it up the latter half of last week:

...a few under-hood shots:

...and 200+ RWHP later, the customer is a happy camper. 485RWHP SAE is the final result:

7psi and none for now. The customer isn't a frequent racer, this is just built as a street bruiser in the meantime.

I just bought a GTO and it has a p1 pro charger on it. it has exhaust and headers. also has an inter-cooler. any good guesses what the HP would be?

All depends on how much boost you're making! As you see in this thread, the car we built made 485rwhp.

not sure on the boost. the boost gauge goes from 20 to 0 and stops. not sure really how to read it. first time having anything with any type of a procharger on it. the gauge never goes over 0.

If you're local to us, bring it by one day and let us check it out! If not, find a local performance specialist and have them take a peek at it - a professional could tell whats going on quickly if they've got the car there in person.

Spin the **** out of it with a tiny pulley.

Look on prochargers website and see what the p1 is rated to (rpm wise). I don't know if they'll give a psi rating because a million different things will change PSIG.

One thing to think about, its not so much about boost (as its only a measure of restriction). A guy I knew had a TVS2300 on his GTO, threw some LT's on it and saw a drop in pressures.....he took them off thinking it was making him less power. When in reality, it was just a lessening of restriction, and probably was doing the oppostie.
