TT LS2 dyno - power falling off
Hey all - just got my car dyno'd after a TT install.
heres what I got..
This was at 10psi peak and fell down to 4psi at the end (due to a bad boost controller). I did a pull right after with a different boost controller, putting it to 10psi peak and 8psi all the way through and made LESS horsepower..
I have double springs rated to .655 and the cam is a 228/222 .5xx .5xx 114.5. Also have double roller chain, BR7EF's at .030, GT35R's.
AFR is fine. Timing is 13 degrees.
Coils maybe? I feel like the car should have made ALOT more power out of 10psi (torque wise). Graph is at smoothing 3. Looked worse at 5....

only thing stock is the bottom end.. GT35R's should be pushing ALOT more..

What about...
the exhaust? is it restricted? you will need a lot of flow out, before you can put more in, and the cam has to go, IMO you need 10 degrees more exhaust duration than intake, just my take, good luck, David.

Like to see the other graph also since this one has the boost drop on it. I know you said it made less, but it would be nice to see. Are you using stock rockers? What turbos/kit? Whats all behind the turbos in the exhaust path? Lots of info needed to fill in the blanks.

I'll pick up the dyno sheet that was 8psi all the way through sometime this weekend. Stock rockers, custom kit with SC61's. I'll post the log and dyno sheet and it might help us figure out whats going on better.
my AFR is perfect but I have not checked full pressure. I assume its fine because of the AFR, but who knows..
I noticed recently my Inj B1 and Inj B2 msec is not the same. B1 is .3 higher..? older logs show it was not like this before I messed with the cold side awhile back.

The real question is, why and who told you to run a reverse split camshaft with a twin turbo combination?
With a twin turbo with half of the exhaust flow and 4 cylinders independently having their own turbine, you do not need a reverse split camshaft.
Reverse splits are band aids to help with backpressure issues or issue during the exhaust stroke.
With a twin setup and if you selected the correct turbines, why would you need to open and close the exhaust valve that way?
Again, I still say it is the wrong cam. Of course some guys will chime in and say it will work, but guys do sh*t all the time that is not optimal.

I don't know anything about the SC61 turbine housings, but I run a reverse split cam with my APS kit and it makes great power and runs flawless. It's a couple steps bigger than yours though. This cam was spec'd because everyone knows the APS kits have small turbines so we just have to work around that.
