Is your nitrous setup for quick spool shutoff or used all the way down the track? and why please.

I would you a controller for the nos. Hitting right off the line might be a bit much dependining on boost level. Im planing on running a 100 shot on my new build and im using a msd nitrous controller to spray 75 in 2nd gear and raise it up to 100the in the final 2 gears to start. Im at the point where I need to know how to retard timing on boost for nos. Or if I even need to do so or not

Why not just buy the correct turbo and not complicate things so much?

if you set your stuff up right you dont really need nitrous for spooling. there is one a few sanctioned bodies out there that will even allow 2 power adders.

I use it to spool my turbo on the line. It will spool by its self, just takes longer. I have a 75 shot set on a WOT switch, and a 9psi off switch. Makes staging and launches more consistent cuz I know I will be leaving with right about 10 psi of boost on the foot brake. The 75 shot just gets it there quicker.

No nitrous on my car. I talked about adding it because I was out of turbo, but we never put a kit on the car, never got time to do it. It wasn't going to be using it to spool it though, just to make some more power down track as we had a kit laying around and would've been easy to put on vs redoing the turbo kit and going to an 88 or twins.
