symptoms of broke spring??

what are the symptoms of a broken spring? the heads and cam have about 20,000 miles on them since installed

If you suspect any kind of issue remove your valve covers and check for any damaged or broken springs.

ok i will do that but when i take the covers off can u just look at them and can tell or u have to take each one off and check or it varies

If you have a broken spring, you'll be able to see it by just taking off the valve cover.

If you have double springs, you might have to take the springs off in order to see if any inner springs are bad. If you have beehive springs, then you should easily see any broken springs.
