Couple of questions...
Assuming I have to send in my own steering wheel what's the approximate turn around time once you recieve it? Can you fatten / thicken up the wheel or will it be the same as the stock?

Ditto on the padding. I never realized just how pencil thin the factory wheels are until I got a BMW for DD - I got used to that beautiful thick M3 wheel, when I drive the T/A it feels like I'm handling a piece of spaghetti.
IMO, wrap is useless unless you can add padding 1st to thicken up the wheel. If this is not something you currently offer, I'd be more than happy to send in my spare wheel to have you make a beta version.
If you're interested, just PM me...

Hi all,
Presents for Christmas are great, both to give and to get… But not if you're clueless as to what to give. Or hate getting useless (but neat) stuff that has nothing to do with what you (or your ride) really need. Or hate hoping that everything you order online arrives on time (and having it come late every now and then leaving you in the shopping frenzy for a replacement gift).
Our CHRISTMAS GIFT CARDS solve all these problems. INSTANTLY PRINTABLE, you can reclaim them at any time towards any purchase at our site. Just give your family/friends/loved ones a link to our site… or use it yourself to buy presents for others. Here's what you/they will find in your/their Christmas sock (except with your and their name on it… or without them if that's your preference!)
http://www.redlinegoods.com/giftcard.jpg
And if you know what you want in your sock… or a sock you will be filling with your gifts… We have free shipping through December 31st on ALL ORDERS!
Oh, and this just came in, the newest addition to our steering wheel wrap (http://www.redlinegoods.com/SteeringWheelWraps.shtm) family - the 4gen Firebird Custom Wheel Wrap!

Hi everyone,
Santa Claus came to our town as well. And brought us a 350Z steering wheel. And we must have been very naughty this ending year (that sounds about right by the way LOL) because it was in a very decrepit shape. So, us and our helpful elves had to apply our magic to it… Here's what came out!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!

And now...
... something you've all been waiting for since we announced our range of custom steering wheel covers (http://redlinegoods.com/SteeringWheelCover.php) :)
Ladies and Gentlemen - we've just developed a solution for STEERING WHEELS PADDING (http://redlinegoods.com/SteeringWheelPadding.php)! WooHoo!!!
http://redlinegoods.com/facebook/varia/wheelpad06.jpg
A specially resized wheel wrap along with specially selected padding foam underneath will make your wheel aprrox. 1/8 to 3/16 inch thicker. What's even more, the foam we use has a very small compression factor so No smooshy feeling of a soft wheel some upholsterers out there offer. just a firm and sporty grip :) All in all... it will be PERFECT!
See the example of the wheel that is in desperate need of some pading - the 4gen Firebird. On the left - stock wheel reupholstered. On the right - another wheel of the same kind wrapped in padding foam:
http://redlinegoods.com/facebook/varia/wheelpad02.jpg
And here's only a quick trial of how it can look wrapped in leather - see the difference?
http://redlinegoods.com/facebook/varia/wheelpad09.jpg
And, of course, padding option will be available for all our steering wheel wraps at a mere $49.
But THIS WEEKEND ONLY we are offering it for you FOR FREE!
So chceck-in at RedlineGoods (http://www.redlinegoods.com) and enjoy your whole new driving experience :)
Have a great weekend!

Hi everyone,
This RedlineGoods leather steering wheel cover was INSTALLED BY ONE OF OUR CUSTOMERS - not a pro, in fact far from it, nothing to do with car upholstery whatsoever in real life. :)
It still came out spellbinding and this proves ALL OF YOU CAN DO IT… If you order a wrap from us first, and dedicate some time and effort to get it done!

Awesome, isn't it? :)
This whel is wrapped in genuine Alcantara(R) Charcoal (color code 9002). When wrapped in leather it will be even thicker (Alcantara is much thinner than leather) :)
Important thing: the padding foam does not come glued to the leather as a backing. It is separate and needs to be glued to the steering whel first and then wrapped in leather / Alcantara / other material. To make the process easier the foam is self-ahdesive :)
Next week we'll publish a write-up on how to apply padding foam onto the wheel.
Like it? Want it? Get it!
Have a great weekend guys.

Do you happen to have a pic of a T/A wheel done in the Nappa Smooth/Perforated with xtra padding?
This is what I've been looking for - would like to see how far up the sides you extend the perforated (prefereably just a short distance past the upper spoke and before the wheel 'bump outs')
Do you use a black padding material for under the perforated leather - hate to be able to see white padding thru the perforations...
My dd is a BMW with that lovely xtra thick M3 wheel done in Nappa - when I go from BMW to T/A it feels like I'm steeering the T/A with a noodle ;)
