Dyno Guesses & Bench Racing Forum - Expected hp/tq?

Thinking about throwing some parts laying around. What cam i expect from an lq4 bottom end a set of untouched 243's ms3 cam an a ls6 intake. Car is m6 w/ 4.10's

Really? Didnt figure it'd hit that high in the numbers with the 64cc 243's. If $ is right i want a set of 2.5sg 5.3's .Bet she'd really come to life with a 150 wet shot:) anyone else running or know of anyone with a similar set up

With all supporting mods in place and tune spot on you should be around 420 :smokin2: at the wheels

Thats good #'s how much would a set of fully worked 5.3's pick the numbers up over the ported 243's? Id like to be in the range of 450hp if possible w/o throwing to much $ at it.tryin to keep the bill down as much as possible gotta have tranny gone thru also to get ol' besty back rite n on the road.

ported heads with the ms3 and lq4 440-460whp depends on how its breathing on the intake and exh surrounding the build.

Wouldn't the 5.3's help more on tq than the 243's ? Want more of a bottom end than i had with the stock ls1. Car was dead until about 2300the rpms then sprung to life
