That is a fast Escalade, but I'm not really impressed. It is only marginally faster than the GTR. 1000 hp would be better suited to something lighter...

Not impressed? Of course the motor would be better suited in a lighter car, but not everyone wants to drive around in a gutted Fbody or a Civic with no interior and only a driver seat.

Pretty cool. Love the stock exhaust tip.

My cousin's husband had something to that effect, 434ci LSX with twin 67s. Never got to see it in action, but apparently it was quite the sleeper.

Where did I say it would be better in a Camaro or Civic that is gutted?

So everyone has to have the same opinion? I don't care if you are unimpressed by my car... that is why it is my car and not yours.

Straight from Hennessey Performance.
# Performance:
# • 0 - 60 mph: 3.3 sec.
# • 11.3 sec. @ 124 mph

Performance figures are based on the 2011 Cadillac Escalade running on 93 octane fuel. Other truck and SUV performance numbers may vary due to the size and weight of the vehicle.

11.3 out of a 427 twin turbo'd LSX. Yes, getting a 6000+ lb suv that fast is no easy task. But, to buy a 67-85K vehicle, then adding the price of the HPE conversion on top of that to take it up to 1000hp (761awhp) only to BARELY outrun a STOCK GT-R, is unimpressive to me. Kind of sounds like some older threads about Supra with 800hp cars running 12's.

To each their own, not everybody can understand why ,when others of us say why not. Driving heavy worktrucks for a living,I understand how cool it can be to beat cars. Wouldn,t mind that engine in my 170" wb Mercedes sprinter dually turbo diesel. It may [only] run low12's with my tools & inventory onboard, But that's plenty enough to make most any fast car owner say what just happened here?
