Default Getting FLPs and Cam installed on the Z this weekend

I do not have 02 Simms, I am going to Raging Motorsports in Kansas City next weekend (from St Louis 4 hour drive) to get tuned.

Here is my question, should I run the Cats until then or put in the straight pipes and ignore the codes?

Please help me out I need an answer quick.

The only function of the rear o2's is to let the pcm know if the cats are functioning properly. Without cats and without simms, it will more than likely set a code, but nothing that will affect performance or driveabilty of the car. The front 02's are the ones that count.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I am sorry I guess I should have mentioned it is an 2001 Z06, I dont know if this makes a difference.

The 2001 had pup cats and the regular cats, I switched to a 2002 setup that eliminated the Pups.

I just wanted to make sure I would not mess anything up by driving it with the Cat codes tripped.

Does anyone else have an opinion on this?
