Default What is this connector?

I've been searching numerous threads with no luck. There is an inline CMP connector that sits by the #2 injector connector. It's between #33 & #34 connectors on the first post. I would like to eliminate it from my fabricated harness, but I don't know why it's there. Is it used for diagnostics? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

honestly, everything is there for a reason.. if i had to take a stab at it, i would say something to do with the fuel system or coils..

it looks like the MAF sensor connector. it looks like the stock plug is plugged into an adapter harness that's used to run an 85mm vette(i think) sensor.

That is a bullshit Connector. IMO there is no reason that should be there. It's the wiring for the Cam Sensor. I take that out everytime I build a Harness.
