Default Buick/Camaro trade. New SS spoiler.

Traded my white 87' Turbo T straight up for this Camaro a couple month ago. The original idea was to sell the Turbo Buick, but a trade deal came up locally and because the Camaro is MUCH more marketable I jumped on it.

It came with an uglly wing so I recently replaced it with an SS wing. It was nice out so I decided to pull the car out of the garage and take some pics, I know it's filthy, and the exhaust looks like a bag of dicks...

Traded the buick..itll be missed. But hey Ive got another one

Uggglyy wing that came on it....

New SS

Underhood/random..

Older shot of gutted interior/ it's all put back in now.

Turbo Buick

The wheels on the Buick aren't my cup of tea but did you get some cash in this trade?

I kept the wheels actually, traded it with some centerline drag wheels actually. No cash on the trade it was straight up. The buick had 152k miles on it, was stone stock and just a cruiser. I had it forsale for about a year asking $11k, and got zero bites, It's just such a niche market for these things. Got lucky that a guy was looking to trade his Camaro for a Turbo buick locally so I jumped on it.

The Camaro is a 12:1 compression, nitrous built 355ci LT1 with a direct port set-up, Built th400 RMVB, 9in rear etc etc. Ran 10.4's on a 150 shot if I remember correctly. Only a thousand miles or so on the engine/trans with a handful of passes. Very easily is a 9sec car with a bigger hit.(Now set-up for a 300.

Same thing I just said. It at least would have been an LS car for me.

This is also coming from a guy who owned and built a t-type for 6 years.

He already has an LS1, isn't that a beautiful white WS6 formula?

Yeah but wait about 10 more years when GN's and T-Types get even more rare, especially a stock one, they will be worth a ton.

I lost my 1987 T-Type that I modded, in Hurricane Katrina. I bought a 1992 z28 for 5 grand. My buddy had the T-Type and it was stock. He asked me to trade straight up and I was like "Hell Yeah!" So I basically got the car for 5 grand. When Katrina took the car State Farm didn't have a listing for a T-Type and I kept arguing with them and I finally gave up and told them "Its a Grand National" and I ended up getting $13,200 for the car.

I wish I still had one. I will get another one, eventually.
