just raced a 2010 camaro... no vid :( Well I was at a car meet in the iroc with a ls1/t56. Pretty much stock 99 motor. Anyways we ended up being dead even firest and second and then I hit third and he started pulling. From 20 to 130 he ended up having 1-1.5 car lengths. Not bad I think. Thought id win. Just means its time for some mods!

Might as well add to the list the kill of a 87 5.0 carbed camaro! Even though it was my brother car.. I couldn't resist! 
lined up at 20 and we both hit it and needless to say.. complete and utter slaughter. By 90 I had a good bus or 2

For some reason the 2010+ camaros are getting a wrap for being slow. A stock ls1 generally wont beat one but because some many ls1's arent stock anymore and can beat them the stock ls1 guys seem to think they can as well. Nice runs OP

I thought I might edge him out I might a little less than a fouth gen. After a ls6 manifold, maybe hawks overpriced headers and a tune I might be able to edge him out

Speaking of 2010 i just had an SS completely ignore the **** out of me on an empty 2 lane road. I wasnt being obnoxious but he knew I was down. Oh well ive been wanted to run one of those.

Yeah I love that look until that nice cold ac is blowing thru their hair and power steering works and have a big long warranty lol. No hating here man ive got 6500 in my car, I win some and im sure i will loose some but I would be happy to trade with a new ss or 5.0 or even a 03 cobra or ws6 for that matter. But It is nice beating up on people in the 4 eye. I love the sleeper look for sure. I actually put a good bit of money on a 98 gt convertible mustang. That was fun to see the look on the ls1 guys back in the day. I had a guy with a new c5 paper tags and all wanna sell his car after he ran into the 98 lol. pardon the drunken ramble.

?? i've beat 2 auto 5th gen cars in my stock ls1. i'd love to race an m6 car, but i haven't had any luck finding a stockish one around here. there are a few, but it seems they all have cams at the very least. my **** doesn't even have headers on it...or a free mod one.
they aren't fast. i don't really think the ferds are, either. i followed a 5.0 15 miles down the road last night on my way home from work trying to get another kill story, but he/she wasn't having it. then proceeded to turn off into a trailer park? i'm not even kidding.
in stock form, neither car is impressive imho. when they struggle to run away from 15 year old engines in cars that weigh 3500lbs, i do not see the light.

I've test drove a new 5.0 and ill admit it would probably give my car in stock for stock no chance in hell unless you let someone who has never drove stick race. It was a monster stock. However I just can't see myself owning one. Either a new camaro ss or even dump it all into my car

Never raced a new camaro owners. I have raced 5.0 from a 20 roll with a completly stock 02 with bald suckahomos and only lost by a bumper going to a hundred with 3.23 and a a4.
