Compressor flow map calculator
How accurate are these calculators like the one below?
http://www.lovehorsepower.com/joomla...tuff&Itemid=49
For my engine and boost req. this calculator said my pressure ratio was 1.68 and I needed a turbo that could meet 67 lbs/min. Using the references on the Garrett tech pages I came up with about the same.
Then I used the formulas found here https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...zing-math.html, and came up with a pressure ratio around 2.2 with lbs/min of 90.

There are consumption charts here.. http://www.forcedinductions.com/help.htm
Compare your calculations to it. ( not sure the size of your engine)

Its a 461 olds. Looking at the chart for the 496 BBC i think my math may be a bit off, seeing that my engine would require about 20 more lbs/min according to my math. It is closer to the calculators results than mine. Thanks for the link i never looked at the bottom of the page for the charts because every time i loaded the page the data was all overlapping.
