Pontiac G8 2008-2010 - G8 auto start?

So i know some other GM cars had the auto start and would run for around a half hour and turn the heater on but this one stays on for about 10-15 minutes but does not turn on the heater... Any way to modify the settings or do i have to install an after market auto start to achive this?

I think all GM remote starts turn off at 10 min now. Pretty sure it explains all this in the owners manual. You can extend it another ten minutes by pushing the start circle on your key fob while the car is already running. About the heater turning on...... I am not sure but with mine I have it set to auto 100% of the time and I never have an issue.

As posted the G8 only runs for 10 min, then stops. You can run another 10 min cycle before you have to use the key to reset the system again. If you have the dual zone HVAC it will come on and go to 70° in either heat mode or AC depending on the outside temps.
