Pontiac G8 2008-2010 - exhaust question

what if i cut out the 2 resonators? would it be louder? would i loose back pressure? help please?

Yes it would be louder, I dont think there would be any backpressure issues.

i just wana make it a lil louder without spending like 500 or more dollars, is there any cheap alternatives that cutting them out?

You said it already. Buy a cutout. It bypasses your mufflers/resonators. Loud when open, tame when closed. The ultimate, cheap, power-increasing mod out there.

You can buy some on here used, in good condition for under $40. They are something everyone should have IMO.

If you put a washer or two between the flanges of the rear mufflers it will make your car louder. I never did it but many G8 owners have and they said it sounds pretty good.
