I have a LS1 with LG G5X3 cam in it now and am installing a manifold setup with S475 turbo. I am pulling the motor to install head studs and new head gaskets before doing the turbo install. Should I change cams while the motor is out or how good will that cam work on boost? This is in a camaro race car on E85.

goodol'93z has that same setup on an 80mm/low comp ls1 and seems to really like it. Might try pm'ing him although he isn't on here much at all.

No body else has tried that cam? I will have the motor out next week so I need to deside on a cam before then if I am going to change cams.

Motors getting ready to go back in..still need to decide on the cam. I went with a S480 turbo....any opinions on cam selection on a stock bottom end LS1??

It'll be fine as long as it's a low back pressure turbo system.

same cam here, with twin 67's, just haven't finished my build to tell you how well it works. Ill let you know unless you get yours done first...probably.
