Default Th350/400 guys what gears you running steer/strip????

Okay so I'm ditching my 6 speed in favor of a built th350 RMVB trans brake ect. It has a ptc3600 nitrous converter also. I was thinking of like 3:23's as I like to roll race and drive my car a lot on the street pretty far distances. I have 4:46's now I know they have to go. When I got my 12 bolt it cam with 3:73's I was thinking of using them but just think that will be to much rpm wise. I have never had an auto car stalled before and I'm just wondering what to expect when driving around town and cruising on the highway any input would be much apreciated.

3.55's 28"tire 3000rpms at 65.. 4k stall... probably would be alot better if i didnt have such a high stall.. but it is a blast to punch it and bang it down into second on the highway at like 60mph

If you drive the car a lot then a th350 is not the way to go. Do an auto with overdrive. Your motor will thank you later.

4.71 go big or go home. 1/8 mile car, i turn 3500 at ~55 mph. Just because it's loud doesn't mean its bad for the motor, get real.

Hmmmm yeah right buddy. Just finished my 80e swap and car turn 2200 rpms at 65. Rpms for a long period of time put excessive heat in a motor and wear. I bet my motor last 3 times as long as yours, you get real man.
