Corvette Fuel Rail Covers?
I am looking into getting a set of these for one of my Christmas presents.
I am just wanting to get some confirmation on which ones to purchase. It seems like I remember reading a thread where someone said you needed the 97-98 covers because they have two slots cut in them. I am also wondering what else is required for making them fit?
thanks for the help in advance!

Yes, the 97-98 units have the two slots which fit better on the LSx-based F-body application.
From the website noted above:
12559261 - '97-'98 LH Fuel Rail Cover (Black With Red "Corvette" Lettering)
12556455 - '97-'98 RH Fuel Rail Cover (Black With Red "Corvette" Lettering)
Both FRC’s - $70.58
I buy them from my local GM dealer cheaper than that, but I go thru quite a few.
Your local GM dealer will match that price above if you show them the webpage GM info.
Modifications depends on any mod's in the engine bay, ...
Still have the EGR & AIR?
Then you should do some cuts in the back to easily route around the tubing & wire bundles.
You have to relieve for the throttle cable bracket.
Some people cut the whole front corner out, but I prefer to simply cut a slot on the ones I've made. That way you retain the front curve of the cover that matches the other side.
Some people cut a notch for the oil dipstick, I prefer to cut a hole & bend the dipstick tube to mate up to it.
Do a Google search, or a Webshots search for Fuel Rail Covers & start cuttin', ...
