Not a problem guys we really appreciate all of you racers coming out and supporting the events. We have teamed up and worked very hard with Chevrolet performance and the NMCA to get this schedule out early for you guys so it will give you a longer shot to get the cars ready. :burn:

Is the Atlanta race at the NMCA event? NMCA web site shows it to be April 12-15 at Commerce Ga, and the June race is in Maryland?

Different dates. The LSX date is in June. If you come to Commerce in April, expecting to see LSX cars, you'll be really lonely.

Unless something crazy happens we will be ready and plan on being at all 4 events. Dropped the car off yesterday for paint/body/powder coat....

Did you see its no longer late model efi, its only EFI. Changed the rules to allow any efi factory equiped car. It only has to run the index.

EFI RUMBLE, it is the big brother of the LSX Series Index Rumble. :usa:
Hey Keith, the car looks great. Can't wait to see it run. I like the Trans Am in the background too. I believe that is an 82 limited edition that had 402 with water injection. My uncle had one, bad ass back in the day.

And yes, the Corvette is pretty damn hot as well.

They do some bad ass work there. Google..... Gold Digger Riddler Award. They worked on that car. It's an absolute work of art.

Funny, as I was typing that - I am thinking one year and typed another. I remember going through Staten Island in the car, we were never going slow. :jest:
I remember he ordered the car and took delivery in late 78.

Actually the 10th anniversary cars could have come with either the 400 Pontiac (manual transmission cars) or the 403 Oldsmobile (automatic cars). They built 7,500 of them and 1817 were 400/manual combos. 1979 was also the last year for the 400 Pontiac engines; the 1080-81 models had engine choices of the 301, 301 Turbo and the 305 Chevrolet.
Okay, back on topic!

Oh ok, i was not aware they had changed it. That might bring the car count up some in that class. Thanks for the heads up.

Some people are not happy with the name because the class rules have changed. The name change and rules will allow more vehicles to enter the class. Pros and cons to this.
My uncles Trans Am had the 403, automatic with water injection. I went through the car with a fine tooth comb and I was only 11. Hell, I was driving at 9. Grew up next to a track, what else would you think my hobbies were.
Back on topic, Keiths car is looks evil anf it is not complete.
