Default Opinions on ARE 346 "street eliminator"

Man it's been awhile since I've posted..I shoved the #4 rod thru the block last July & just put a car cover on it & let it sit..Well I'm tired of using the Camaro for a folding table & need to put an engine in it..I got to looking in the sponsor pages & saw Tbyrne in there.I remember him from when I used to run at New England drag-way..Back when his car only ran 11's.Anyway..
I scored a freebie used block with bad bearings & intend to use it as a core.
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the quality/durability of the ARE motors for sale there.
I intend to use it as a street/strip car & no power adder..I'd like to cam it to turn at least 115 N/A..

i've had my ARE motor for a year and it has performed great. no problems at all,it burns less oil then my stock block,it runs smooth and i beet the hell out of it.it runs consistant 11's at the track and this year it will go 10's on a daily driver. i drove to ARE (4hrs away) gave them all my old stuff and they put it all togeather at no extra cost.if i ever need another motor or get that 427ci i want i will have them do it. goodluck to ya......maybe(chris are 360) will chime in and give his thoughts.

That's pretty much the package I have in mine. No problems in 2 years of use.

Mine has worked flawlessly for over three years now and hundreds of passes.

I have the offset ground crank in mine for 360ci.
