Default 1000hp auto car

how many people making 1000k are runing a 12 bolt I have a moser with 33 spline axles will it old up or should i up grade to a fab9 car has a 400 with a brake

I think the 12 will be fine, 35 spline axles with 5/8 studs wouldn't be a bad idea though. My previous car had 33 splined 12 bolt and 5/8's studs. It made around 700-750rwhp and weighed 3900 on a good day. Trans brake launches and 6 speed clutch dumps turbo'd before that also.

I gave my setup to DTS in ionia michigan. 4000lb 6.0 launching off a trans brake and 20psi about 1000whp. They built me a 12bolt. I know they had a nova that ran high 7's on a 12bolt they built. Make sure its atleast a nodular housing and built right and you will be fine with the 12bolt

I have a 35 spline mark williams and its been fine so far leaving on 11psi with t/brake ,, gear selection sucks (3.73s being the tallest) have not ran the quarter yet only 1/8th mile not sure if its enough gear ..

yeah something in the 3:2x range will probably work alot better for you and it looks like the o.p has 4:10 cogs in his. depending on tire/max rpm around a 3:5x gear should be able to pull 150+ on a 28 .
