Default Dynoed my car, hit the limiter in 4th?

I dynoed my car saturday morning, all the car has is a MTI lid. I was hoping to put up 300rwhp. I ended up with 296/323. I left my heater on by accident too, I wonder if that will give me the 3.x horses I need to hit my goal. Well my question is, I was in 4th gear doing my runs, since I got the best results with that, but when I got to about 5300-5400rpms, it would hit the rev limiter or the governor?! I still had about another 600 or so rpms to go! The guy mentioned that I should get the predator or LS1 edit, something like that to fix it? I can't believe my rev limiter is 5400 though! Also, when they dynoed my car, the connect something under the hood, to get rpms I guess? Well I now I have a ABS INOP light on? Is that normal, or did they forget to re-connect something? Would disconnecting the battery clear the code? It always worked on my old L98, but I am completely new to the LS1 and their computer systems. Thanks.

does your car have the speedlimiter? if so that would prevent you from going higher then 120 and IIRC that would be close to the rpm your saying your **** shut down. all ls1' have the fuel cut off at 6250rpm so its not a rev limiter your hitting.

Sometimes, just dyno-ing the car will confuse the computer and lite the "ABS INOP" light. This is due to the huge difference in wheel speed (front vs. rear). The computer then thinks that a sensor has gone bad and shows the light. Its still a good idea to check all connections incase something did come loose.

The ABS INOP light usually always comes on after a dyno. It's no big deal. Just drive the car around a little and it will go out. It's because your rear wheels are moving and your front are stationary. If it doesn't go out, disconnect the battery for a little bit.

As far as your rev limiter... check your RPO codes. If you don't see QLC, then your car came with the non-z rated tires. In that case, you have the limiter and you'd have to get a Predator or EDIT to fix it.

I have been driving my car quite a bit now since the dyno run. I will have to check the sensors, around the front wheels? I think my car does have a limiter on it, so I will have to look into getting EDIT, I heard that is one of the best ones out there right?

You hit your speed limit, not your rev limit. This can happen on a dyno.
Tripping the ABS light is also quite common on the dyno. The light should go out by itself after a few car startups. Both of these have happened to me. The speed limiter (158mph on 98's) can be changed with LS1-Edit.

Mine was on to after Saturday's dyno. It went out though as soon as I left the parking lot. The dude at Xotic said if it didn't go out, then to disconnect the battery for a while.
