porting heads i was wondering if anyone knew any good places to get heads ported in northern illinois and what cam would be best for street/strip use

are you talking about hand porting?
Most places these days will just take your current heads as cores and sell you a set already done.
...and in order for people here to try and spec a good cam for your uses over an internet forum, we gotta know some more details on your set up!
