Finished my new interior...black suede
This was my first experience with upholstry, so it took a while....3 months working on it as I had the time. I wanted something nice, but not too over the top, so I went with black suede.
I was originally going to order a cover and send it to 6LE so that he could sew a matching interior, but when I received the suede/leather cover from Corbeau it looked too nice to sacrifice for a seat cover template. My wife thought the fabric was thin enough for her to sew matching rear seats, so we ordered matching suede and 1/2 foam to make matching rear seat covers.
Overall I'm happy with the result, and we managed to keep the total cost under $700, including shipping to Germany.
$0.02 appreciated. BTW, the rear seat and side fabric IS an exact match, but for some reason it looks lighter in the photographs. I think it's because the camera has a hard time finding a reference on the monochromatic fabric.
