Time to purchase wastegates, i can get a good price on a set of 38mm wastegates, or should i stick with a 60mm or the 66mm precision wastegate

its on a high comp 346 bw s475 going to be running 8 psi, give or take

My thought is that you will be plenty fine with two 38mm's, or one 60mm.

The reason I run a 60mm waste gate is because I am running a small turbine wheel (relative to power I'm trying to generate). The compressor can make the power, but the turbine wheel can potentially choke out the rest of the turbo. For this reason, I chose to run a larger waste gate to divert as much exhaust flow around the turbine as possible so I would not choke out.

For your situation, You are not going to be running as much exhaust and you have a much larger turbine wheel that will flow very well. Therefore, you are not going to need as much waste gate as someone in my shoes.

Food for thought:

60mm has ~25% larger total area so I'd assume that the 2x 38mm's should allow marginally better spool, as they would bypass less exhaust at cracking pressure. The improvement is likely invisible to the butt dyno for ur combo.
