Eastern Members - T-56 rebuild in NJ

I was looking to do a rebuild myself but after seeing how I can get a basic rebuild from Tick performance for 1K shipped and not get my hands dirty I was wondering if there were any local shops that are reputable to possibly get it rebuilt for even less?

I have a family friend who runs a transmission shop, somerset trans in somerset. Hes been in business for 30 years independently and is super honest and a great mechanic.

Mikey at MCP can rebuild a t56 i think it will be alittle more then 1k tho

Thrust Performance in South Amboy did mine. Greg, their trans guy did a great job on it

Rockland Standard is the pioneer in T-56 rebuilds and have there own version "Tranzilla". They are rite on the NJ/NY border in Sloatsburg.
They did mine and it's just a phenomenal trans now!!!
