Default Anyone run Fuzion ZRi Tires?

I found a local guy selling 2 for $220. I was wondering if they are any good, and if thats a good price? I tried a quick search, an one guy said they hooked better than his goodyear F1's? How do they wear, and how is the road noise? Also wet traction is not a concern.
Thanks!

A buddy of mine runs them on his 80 malibu, they hook great on the street. I was really surprised at how well they performed on the street. His doesnt seem to have any road noise that I recall. Great looking tire as well. I wouldnt be afraid to go with them. I would try to get them for less if it were me though. you can find them new online for 135 or less a piece.

im not a fan of them. have them on my fronts, they are an "ok" tire i guess. personally iv found that for the money there are much better tires out there. also they dont hold tire shine for nothing. traction is about like any other radiel tire to me. when i had a set on the back they spun just as easy as all other 4 sets iv had in the last year lol. iv had continental,f1's, fuzions, and another Goodyear style but they all have spun the same off the line.

What would be a better tire for a comparable price? Also how are they wearing for you, how many mile do you expect to get out of them?

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

^ these seem to be the best all season performance tire for a good price. check out the reviews on them. these will be my next set an i wont spin them off.
the fuzions i have now have lasted a year without hardly any wear problems, but as for the rears, i dont put enough miles on the rear tires to find out the longevity of the tire. i like speed but burnouts are cooler.

I have them on my SS currently. Being discontinued explains why I haven't been able to find them. Thanks for the info Rudy.

ZRi's get considerably louder as they wear. More than any manufacturer that I've tried so far. If you don't mind the noise, go for it. The have a great tread pattern as well.

If you want a good tire at a decent price check out the Nexen N7000's. They are made by Michelin and they are pretty budget friendly.

You dont want to put tire shine on your tires. It makes the life of the tire reduce dramatically.

Too bad they're discontinued. I have a set of them on my Z-28. They were a good performing tire at a medium level price. I've liked them....

It depends on the product, to much silicone in the heat will cause soft material to break down. this is why u dont "Armor All" your dash or interior, it will crack. cant pretect everything forever, plus it looks sexy! lol
