Default P1626?

Light came on. Figured it was the usual 440. Checked with tuner and it gave the code P1626. [PCM] P1626 - Theft Deterrent Fuel Enable Signal Not Received, Now that I think back the car didn't want to start the other night, but It did the second attempt, everything seemed fine, so I didn't think anything of it. Is it just the Theft system and wouldn't hurt to drive w/ or ignore this code?

Perhaps it's VATS on its way out. I would disable VATS in the tune and flash it in to be safe, so you're not left stranded in a parking lot somewhere sans tuning software.

Disable it? how can I do that with a handheld, I picked up a Hypertech 32002 for cheap. I don't think it's capable of doing that though

Oh, sorry about that. I was assuming you were using HPtuners/EFilive/etc. You can't disable it with a handheld, so I would recommend getting in touch with someone who has tuning software to disable it for you.
