Hi Guys and Ladies!

So heres the deal...im really anxious to get this procharger broken in and the transmission done being built so that I can get on that chassis dyno and see what all this damn money has been for. I am going to list my mods and I want to see who can guess it the best. Do not give me that depends on this and that and that shit. I will give you some good info to help. Consider this the Dyno version of Pass Time on speed channel.

1. 2002 WS6 41,000 miles----stock bottom end (I know.)
2. Hooker 1 & 3/4 Longtubes
3. 3:73 Gears
4. 10 bolt (I said I know!)
5. Hooker Offroad Y
6. SLP Exhaust with a Dynomax resonator
7. Texas Speed 228R Camshaft @ 114LSA .588/.588
8. PTC 3200 Race Converter
9. PAC .650 Springs
10. Texas Speed Pushrods
11. Stock 241 Heads
12. Stock TB
13. Pro-M MAF
14. Built 4l60e with TransG0 HD2
15. 17'' speedlines
16. MSD 8.5 Wires and NGK TR55-IX Iridium Plugs
17. Siemens 60# Injectors
18. Racetronix Hotwire Kit
19. LS6 Intake
20. Alkycontrol Kit with Snow Boost Juice
21. D1SC Procharger Kit- 8 Rib
22. ATI 1300hp FMIC Race Intercooler
23. ATI Super Damper
24. 7.65 Crank Pulley
25. 4.13 Blower pulley

That pretty much sums that part up. Now for some Geographics & History. The car previously made 393rwhp 366rwtq the last time I made a video and before I re vamped the throttle body and removed some weight. (see video)

I am guessing boost will be between 8-10 #

Location: Henson Performance
State: Alabama
Altitude: 541 ft
Longitude: -86.95
Latitude: 33.4
Forcast Temps will be between 31-35 Degrees.

This is basically just for fun and to keep my ass occupied as well as to see who knows there stuff. :usa:

I'd really like to know how this turns out, because I want to procharge my head/ cam car as well.
Your torque's a bit low isn't it? Not that it'll matter after you throw on that 'charger.

Well the torque is around where it should be for this car based on the mods it has. The Hooker offroad exhaust setup really lost me some back pressure. and often times that's torque being lost as well although horsepower may come up a bit. I knew big things were in store later on down the road though, plus the sound is killer even compared to more pricey setups. So far it truly is the best I have heard on any ls1 car. Sounds like someones torturing lions through stadium speakers.

Also it is an automatic car, and you probably already know the M6 guys are the dyno kings. (but not the track kings ;)

I am expecting 470-490rwtq personally. A buddy of mine brianwrightr6 just ran a 540rwhp and 470tq on his d1sc with a smaller cam and restricted exhaust thru a stockish a4. Another guy allout06 ran a 571rwhp with a torquer v3 or v2 i think with 470rwtq thru his 6 speed. Both of those guys video can be found on youtube by looking up those names.

I am hoping that my upgraded larger truck intake and filter plus the methanol and big exhaust with get me some higher tq numbers. The tranny will be built too along with some adjustments to the converter from the guys at PTC. I'm guessing that if i make 8-10 psi i should hit 560-590ish easy. but your right..its the tq I'm after. That is the stuff that moves your ass and really gives you that whoa shit feelin'.... haha. Turbo cars are the torque monsters. And N20 guys are the torque Kracken.

All that power will destroy that 10 bolt! and that stock bottom end will not last under those types of conditions sir! :D

you will be right around 530hp-540 RWHP..if I'm wrong then please PM me and let me know. I'm usually pretty spot on when guessing RWHP numbers...it's some gift I have (thanks God)..BTW..I have a VERY similar setup (check sig)

yeah...well my guess is 560-580ish. if boost is where it should be. youcalling out those honda guys was funny ilovechevy.

and yeah the stock 10 bolt is not long for this world. a strange or moser 12 will be going in before spring. and actually being that the car only has 40k and im running methanol and low boost, i am pretty confident that the stock bottom end will last longer than i expect....there are waaaaay to many people who have been pushing 550-600rwhp on stock bottom ends and getting away with it. As we all know it is all in the tune...and the guy who is tuning it is a prodigy. Henson Performance. I mean I was running well for the small amount of mods I had and the small cam.

I will be saving up meanwhile for the forge kit. Gunna go with the good stuff and push as much as I can with the d1. this car is not just for speed. this is going to be a show car. after the forging is done the paint and interior and engine bay will be taken car of and im going after some trophies.

but back to the power. I was running 7.30's with my current setup so if i just spent 10-11k to run a 7.1 i am goin to be pissed as hell. but my guess is 6.5-6.70's. I am looking at high 10's. That is flashing the Converter too. once the sub frames and 12 bolt are in there ill be running slicks and launching at 3-4k and shaving off even more id imagine. the main reason i am running stock bottom endis to see how far i can push it b4 kaboom. itll be funny to have the pistons in the room and H beams and rings and bearings and rockers and etc etc....and be tracking it a few times a month wishing it would let go. I can prob have it built within a month after it lets go and tuned for as much as the stock fuel lines can take.

Your set up is close to mine except you have stock heads and a auto and running 4.13 pulley to my 4.25 so I'm going to say 620rwhp

I think the fact that you have an aster bracket plays a huge part in your numbers...as well as your 6 speed trans. But I will say, that if I do hit 600rwhp....I am going to be the most excited guy in the southeast that day. That will be one dyno sheet that goes into a frame.

should know by thursday or friday! gunna hold my fingers that the stocker will hold together in 3rd long enough for us to make our WOT tunes, as the driveability is already underway.

on 8-10lbs on a D1 if you arent over 550hp I would be shocked! Considering your a Auto; here is a m6 car. You shouldnt be to far off: Also consider this is in Colorado elevation 5280 or more feet above sea level

My friends: Chad = 640RWHP 598 RWTQ (2002 Z-28 Stock LS1 w/AIR Chad Cam, 12 Bolt w/4.10 gears D-1SC w/9psi)

decided today that the WOT tunes are going to be postponed until my transmission is built. it is just not up for it guys. sorry. i shouldve known though. it barely got by with just the cam. ordered my tranny cooler today, expecting it to be built in mid february. then all i have to do is pull it on the dyno after the 250 mile breakin.

we finally learned that the MAF from Pro-M was not going to work. it pegged immediately. anyways went with a 3 bar map. 1st pull was 581, made a few changes and hit 592rwhp. now we are going to make a few pulls with the methanol and see what happens. the 4.13 pulley on my setup is making 9.5lbs of boost on a stock bracket and 8 rib setup. that was at 5800 rpms where it peaked belt slipped slightly.

Good stuff! Keep us posted with updated dyno numbers with meth.. Can you post vid or dyno graph if you have one. I will have updated dyno numbers up soon as well keep an eye out!!!

lifted a head at 6000rpms. idk about all that. but either way it was at 598.9rwhp and climbing. tq was at 577. this was on a dynocom.

lifted a head at 6000rpms. too much timing i guess at 22 degrees apparently. idk about all that. but either way it was at 598.9rwhp and climbing. tq was at 577. this was on a dynocom. yeah the tq was high idk why.

So did I! Lol.. I took out arp head bolts and put head studs in with ls9 gaskets. Did the tru-union upgrade while I was at it. I added a crankcase breather, switched to Evan waterless coolent, upped my meth nozzles from duel 3gph to duel 10gph and finishing my return fuel system. Hopefully those thing I did will do the trick. Keep us updated!

i thought the ls9 gaskets were a 7 layer mls gasket that was for a 4.1 bore. my 3.890 wouldnt accept that would it....or should i say. 3.905 now. its going to be built.
