Switching from SD Closed Loop to SD Open Loop Questions!
I'm wanting to switch from SD CL to SD OL so I can eliminate my oxygen sensors and start running race gas. I have access (free) to a bunch of VP C12 an I want to try playing with the timing in order to gain a little more power. It's pretty much a race car at this point and a laptop/innovate wideband stays in the car. I'm just trying to get this stock shortblock LS1 car in the 9's so I'm exhausting every route possible. Can anyone give me steps or tips on how to switch over? I'm using HPTuners.

The car has had a SD tune for a year and runs great, drives great, and performs great. The only thing I have changed in the file is the Closed Loop Enable (ECT vs IAT) to the max of 284 degrees so it doesn't go into closed loop. Is there anything else that I need to do?

Thank You! I will overlook the tune for that since I'm not the one who tuned the car originally. Fasterproms/Formato tuned the car in SD originally and I haven't needed to mess with it until now.
