Power seems kinda low to be honest. There is a local with an LS2 z06 with bolt ons and a ms4 cam and he makes 463whp with stock ls2 heads. Im sure its a solid motor and it makes good torque. Im just saying I would expect more from a 402 with a "BIG" cam thats all.

477 with stock heads and stock intake on a stroker motor seems low to you? You should head over to ls1.com with that logic lol

I am no dyno guy, so I don't look at a lot of dyno numbers. But, don't those LS3 heads flow as well as a lot of the ported cathedral port and aftermarket cathedral port heads? Also, I have read that Fast LS3 intake does not really outperform a ported stock LS3 intake by much. If that is the case, is it not out of the question to reach 500 whp with stock ls3 heads and intake with the right combo and tweaking? Again, I am not a dyno guy, I am a track guy, so this is nothing more than a question.

Well, actually, cam only ls3's are supposedly laying down 500rwhp so... It sounds damn good and dyno's are for tuning, this is just constructive criticisim. You know Im not dissing the car at all, dont you?

Don't get caught up on just peak numbers.

460tq is nothing to sneeze at. It peaks before 6k even. I imagine with in intake and a little head work to get some more flow up ther climbing past 500rwhp peak will be easy.

I have tuned l92 headed 6.0 cars that made 460hp - They didn't make much more than 400tq though.

power numbers dont look bad but it sure is peaking early you are losing Horse Power by 6k rpms, something is definetly holding it back I doubt it is the cam but the power band looks very narrow, may be a case of big cam but to much restrictions at high RPM, my engine suffers the same thing but has a broader cam for lower end power to but still peaks early at 6300 The ls3 intake, TB and heads are definetly limiting on a 400plus cube engine, I bet after a a cnc port on the heads and intake and a 92mm tb you will see over 500 easy, but on ething people need to remember is a n20 cam is not optimized for NA and will not make the same power as a NA cam so all in all I think those are good numbers ESPECIALLY with the window open for alot of future upgrades

Stock ls3 intake mani, yes. This is of course with all external boltons as I was assuming this car already had. The NOS cam and tune is also a factor I hadn't originally taken into consideration, however, I still think something is kinda outta wack. It sounds badass and Im sure it hauls on the gas and thats what is was built for. Lets see a dyno of it with a 150 shot or more please...

Must have had a monster engine, my stock lS2 with L92 heads, cam 90 TB and bigger injectors, made 485 whp / 515 wtq on a Mustang dyno, with wtq never below 400 at any rpm

Considering stock displacement LS3s with stock heads/intake manifold and a decent cam make in the 460rwhp+ range I would say yes that seems low. I can't see the graph, so can't comment on the torque output...but power seems low yes. I would expect those kind of numbers from a 402 with 243 heads and and LS6 intake.
