Default Need Opinions/Advice

Hey guys & gals!

I am currently building a Ls6 block and need some input. I have been looking at various head options and need advice. I was searching summit and found 2 packages that are within my budget.

The only difference I can see is the one cam is a little more aggressive then the other. The pictures show different roller rockers but the description says nothing about them. Also going by the pictures one package comes with heads gaskets and the other doesn't....again the description says nothing.

Let me know what you guys think, and let me know if I can do more with that amount of money. My goals are pretty realistic I'm looking for mid to high 400's and would like to pair the heads up with a Ls6 intake.

Are you referring to crank or wheel hp?? The new Patriot Predator heads are a better choice. For a (mostly) street motor I would pick the 226 cam or get a custom grind (the best choice).

The motor is going into a drift car that never see's the street. I was referring to wheel. I will check out the predator heads thanks for the info.

I just checked out the predator heads.....seems interesting but I am really looking for a package I can bolt on an go. If you guys have a custom package you would suggest...my budget for a package is 1600-2000 and for just heads I would spend 1200-1400 then Id have to get rockers as well.

I think most guys on here are running factory rockers if their cams aren't much over 600 lift. So, that would save you some unnecessary expense.
