Default sonar projector paint mod

So my friend got some sonars and he didn't like that they had chrome bottoms and inner parts so I opened them and painted them for them. Here's how they turned out.

This is subtle but was no easy task as these lights didn't want to open like the stock ones do. What do you guys think?

came out sick...glad you pushed the idea...i wouldnt have had the patience to fight that rubber cement they sealed them with haha..what a nightmare

Surprised YOU didn't reccommend your friend to upgrade the projectors too. Hows the light quality between your custom install & his sonars.

Well I did but he didn't have the coin to do the full conversion. Still waiting on the pics... if he'd ever post them. I shined a surefire light through them and the cutoff wasn't as bad as I thought, but they were pretty narrow. They're good for people on budgets.

I would have taken the. Halo out of the high beam area i think these head lights would be perfect without them lol
