Car is a 2006 Corvette LS2 automatic with the typical bolt ons yet still retains it's stock 2.56 gears.

10.78@127.29mph on a 1.51 sixty foot.

Eclipsed 100mph (100.55mph) in the 1/8th and 127mph (127.53mph) in the 1/4 for the first time ever and even a new best sixty foot of 1.50.

Here's a copy of the three best time slips (car# 364):

That's flying for a bolt-on car.....I double the race weight question.

I'm not so sure gears would help it with the 6sp auto.

What's the race weight?I double the race weight question.Unfortunately the acale at this particular track is not left open for the general public/racers to use like at some other tracks I've been to so I don't really know what the exact weight is. The last time I weighed it (at Englishtown a few months back) the raceweight was in the 3240 - 3265 pound range as their scale seemed to never give the same exact reading from one pass to the next LOL.

Taken from his signature

2006 Corvette 6 speed auto, Velocity Yellow - 12.2@115.4
Quickest bone stock Corvette LS2 ever?!
Now with some bolt ons and Cartek tuning - 10.7 and 127.53mph

Ok so we know this it has a 3200 stall, Cartek tune, what sounds like aftermarket exhaust but what other boltons does it have besides drag radials and skinnies?

No further plans, just driving/enjoying it now and will maybe enter a few Corvette Challenges with it in 2012. :drive:

Great runs sir !!! Plenty vettes run those skinny fronts....what are those rims and where can they be had ???Gto sparesYes they are modern era GTO spare wheels with actual DOT legal/approved race tires on them.
They are becoming increasingly more rare and difficult to find unfortunately.

marc with your 3200 stall and stock gears...are you still on the stock tune?As mentioned above it does have Cartek (www.cartekracing.com) dyno tuning.

Ok so we know this it has a 3200 stall, Cartek tune, what sounds like aftermarket exhaust but what other boltons does it have besides drag radials and skinnies?Still has the factory stock (cat back) exhaust/mufflers/tips actually  but it does have long tube headers with X-pipe.
Other bolt ons are: cold air intake, FAST 92mm intake manifold/ported throttle body, trans cooler and passenger seat removed. :burn:

This gets me pumped about what my 300 is going to run like n/a before we put the turbo on it with an lq4, z06 cam, single chamber flowmaster single 3" exhaust, ls6 intake and tb, truck manifolds, electric fan, good tune, 4l80e w/ 2200 converter and 3:50 gears. Car will probably weight 2600 without me in it.

If the rear holds and if you can hook it well that car should fly at that weight.

I was curious if you have ever dynoed the car with the bolt-on's ? And if so what kind of power is it making?

I was curious if you have ever dynoed the car with the bolt-on's ? And if so what kind of power is it making?Yes, it was last dyno'd back in August 2009 I think, it made 393rwhp/380rwtq on a Dynojet.

That rocks man.. Plan on doing a H/C/I soon?

LS1LT1
01-22-2012, 03:07 AM
Plan on doing a H/C/I soon?Nah I think I'm going to leave the car as it is for now, enjoy it as a fast street car (and it really does still drive like stock, almost no sacrifice in street manners/daily drivability) and maybe just enter some bracket/index events with it throughout the year.
I had remotely/briefly considered going the heads & cam route but I would likely need (or at least want) to do gears and a higher stall before that just to maximize the combo and if I were to do that then I'd want to see just how much further I could take it with just bolt ons first LOL. It simply never ends :D so I had to draw a line somewhere and I think this is it. :burn:

That is awesome man, is that the fastest bolton ls2? Cant go wrong with a vette, how many trailered race cars cant even run 10.7s!

That is awesome man, is that the fastest bolton ls2?Thanks. :)
It is currently the quickest 'A6 transmissioned' bolt on Corvette LS2 or even LS3. But the absolute quickest is an A4 transmissioned LS2 owned by my friend Dennis, it ran in the 10.6s a few years back so I'm still #2.
But in trap speed, my car is now the fastest (non Z06/non ZR1) trapping bolt ons only Corvette in the world (well, as far as 'internet records' are concerned at least LOL). :D

Cant go wrong with a vette, how many trailered race cars cant even run 10.7s!I agree. Of course nowadays there are lots of actual street cars than can do that and there are even many that are even much quicker/faster than that as well.
But way back in the day yes, it was almost impossible to have a pure/true street car that could also run 10s/trap 127mph, never mind also doing it in comfort with A/C and getting 30mpg in the process too. :burn:
