LS1 to LQ4 Accessory Drive?

LS1 to LQ4 Accessory Drive? For the swap I'm planning i've been told that the accessory drive on the lq4 sticks out from the motor more than that on the ls1 and was told to "try" and swap them. Is this statement even true? and are they interchangeable?

this thread has been beat to death! but to simplify your search, ive done this swap..
in an f body, you need to use your ls1 accessories, they will swap right over, youll need to drilll and tap 1 bolt hole for the alternator mount on the bottom driver side of the engine.
