Lq9, L92 heads, Ls3 intake. Cam help???
I know this has been covered before because I read about it some time ago. I have recently decided on my next motor combination being a LQ9 6.0 with L92 heads Ls3 intake, or fast if anyone thinks it's really worth it, and I am having trouble finding any cam set ups with this combination, anyone have any suggestions, dyno numbers? The car will be either a C5 ZO6/FRC or 98-02 F-body, whichever I come accross first, Will be 6 speed!

I have an LQ4, LS3 heads and intake, PAtrick G spec'd a cam for me. The car is a 1980 Z28, with a 4L80E 3600stall and 4.10 gears.
The cam I have is 231/239 .598”/.610” 113 LSA +2 advance (with 1.7 ratio rockers)

I have a LQ9 LS3 headed combo with a L76 intake in my M6 Z28 right now! I got my cam speced out by Allan Futral! I am very satisfied with Allans cam he speced for my set-up!! It sounds bad *** and made good power! It put down 463rwhp and 430rwtq corrected, 475rwhp uncorrected! That was through a power robbing Strange S60! It pulls really hard in my full weight "3600lbs without me in it" car and 4.10 rear gear. Pm me if you would like my cam specs! I can also email you a idle video if you would like.

LQ4 and LQ9 are virtually the same except compression.
LQ4 The Vortec 6000, or LQ4, is a V8 truck engine. Displacement is 6.0 L (370 cu in) from 101.6 mm (4.0 in) bore and 92 mm (3.6 in) stroke 4.0-inch (100 mm) bore 3.622-inch (92.0 mm) stroke . It is an iron/aluminum (1999 & 2000 model year engines had cast iron heads) design and produces 300 hp (224 kW) to 325 and 360 lb·ft (488 N·m) to 370 lb·ft (502 N·m). LQ4s are built in Romulus, Michigan and Silao, Mexico.
LQ9 The Vortec HO 6000 or VortecMAX is a special high-output version of the Vortec 6000 V8 truck engine originally designed for Cadillac. This engine was introduced in other truck lines as VortecMAX for 2006. It features high-compression (10:1) flat-top pistons for an extra 10 hp (7 kW) and 10 lb·ft (14 N·m), bringing output to 345 hp (257 kW) and 380 lb·ft (515 N·m). LQ9s are built only in Romulus, Michigan. GM also listed it as based on LS architecture.
