Hey guys. Im getting ready to get a 6.0l and 4l80e for my grand national turbo swap. I have seen some people say to stay away from the 02 and earlier. Isn't there a change in the cranks where some have to use a spacer and some not? It will be complete of of a wrecked truck. I won't have to mix and match parts. Thanks!

It is the 6.0 with the Iron heads. Their cranks do not have a spacer and are longer. Im not sure on the years. I have a 99 and it has the longer crank. I thought it was just 99 and 00, but don't quote me on that. This limits your options for transmissions. Since you are doing a 4L80E, it wont matter. But if you wanted to do a T56, you could not if you had the longer crank.
