Great Ending to 2011!
Car weighs 3565 with me in it and roll bar, and has 100% stock C6 suspension, gears, rearend, transmission. This is the exact way I run my car daily on the street. It also does not have a Z06/ZR1 diff in it, so with my heavy Fbody wheels out back, I am limited to about a 1.55-1.60 60ft. With my old C5Z06 wheels, I would feel better hitting the car harder.
Sorry for no go-pro cameras or other cameras tonight. I just drove out there out tonight just to get a few shakedown passes in the car and see what I want to adjust.
This pass was the first of 3. No cool down, 40 mile drive that took 1.5 hours since there was heavy traffic.
I let the rpm's creep up a little too high on the second pass, and had a bad 60ft when I slipped the clutch. 1.72 short time and missed a gear. Only video, which I asked a spectator to take, of me.

Third pass, I had "hightechcorvette" forums plug in all their g force meter equipment, and had cameras and audio equipment hanging all over the inside and outside of the car.
This was the 9 second pass coming. Nailed the 60ft and shot out hard! I new if I ripped the gears, this was the 9.95-9.99 pass easily since the DA was right and the car was cool.
Missed 2 gears and started to hear what I think is the transmission grinding(probably just a rusty driver and missing gears). I let out for a brief second on the second missed shift, and then went back in. MPH went way, way down, so I hope everything is ok and will check it out this weekend.
All in all, for not driving the car in 10 months with no seat time, I was happy to get 1 clean run and not break. I should have new times with an upgraded blower soon and spray. D98gt thinks a 75 shot in 2-4th should get me another 4mph, so hopefully close to 150mph soon.
Big thanks to Wally & Auto Adrenaline Performance, Bill, Jeff, Joe, ECS, A&A, Dallas Performance and the guys for helping me through a dreadful 2011. The experience of guys that actually race their cars and know what they are doing goes a long way in this business. :yesnod:
An absolute fantastic end to 2011.

Hey, Mark....way to go man! 10.08 is awesome and over 140 mph too. Glad to see you are creeping to within a hair of 9 seconds. I bet the extra torque from your stroked engine helps. I'll bet 9 second passes are around the corner with more seat time/ passes.
Congrats!
Congrats!

Thanks, guys!
I need to get a little weight out of the car. A drag pack or GTO wheel/C5z06 rear wheels will probably be a good start. I sold 3 sets of z06 wheels lately, and wish I would have kept them. The Fbody wheels are heavy. I think that in itself, will get me down to the low 1.5 60ft times. I'm worried about the stock rear running the heavy Fbody wheels.
I plan on going with a little bigger blower, then putting the bottle on the car for 2nd-4th gears soon.
I'm very happy with the results, and help from the guys in Houston and Wally's shop.
