Stick with the 3.73's , the new 4000 converter will make a big difference !!!

Ya stay with 373s the 410s will make the rear even weaker. The 4000 stall will be a big difference..

Dont waste your time with the 4.10's , the A4 transmission has a very steep first gear . The new converter is going to hit your tires much harder , and like ( 1Badws6 ) said your rear end dont need anymore stress on it ! your 60ft will most likely be in the mid 1.5's , hopefully your tires are up to the task lol ! good luck it will be fun.....

I ran 4.10 gearing on the GM 10 bolt along with a 4000 stall. Best 60ft n/a was a 1.48. At the same track outing, I hit 1.39 w/175shot out of the hole and the 10 bolt took a dump. Overall opinion, 4.10 gear and 4000 stall is a good combo. I still run the same combo, but with a Strange S60 rear end.

Stick with the 3.73 IMO it will give you room to grow.

I myself have a 4K converter and 3.73's. While I wouldn't change my 3.73's for 4.10's I wouldn't be opposed to trying them if I still had 3.23's

Would 4.10s on a stock stall not be better for someone wanting to avoid a bigger converter? Assuming DRs are on the car of course.
