Why doesn't my DRL work? New bulbs and the fuses are good, front turn signals don't work either!

Some of the units themselves just don't work. My passenger side rear was bad when the car was new in the showroom back in '01. Bulbs and fuses had nothing to do with it. The front didn't work either because of the bad rear. If both sides are not working at the same time all of a sudden, then it is probably another issue.

Happens to all birds, Moisture gets behind the cover and corrodes the socket. The sockets themselves are corroded. Pull you bulbs out and look inside there. I bet it's full of all kinds of shit. Just replace them with new ones you can go to you local auto parts store and pick up the sockets in the HELP section. Pretty easy job actually, I will see if I can find the write up for it

Here ya go. If it's not to bad, just clean it up a little bit and see if it works. But if it really bad, just go ahead and replace it.

This is alot easier than cutting and splicing the wires together. Simply take the sockets apart and install your old wires.

Sometimes you can clean your bulb socket contacts, other times you will need do replace the pigtail. Either way, shoot some Di-Electric grease in the socket to help extend the time between replacements.
